Social entrepreneurship and SWOT analysis
On Friday 18th of May 2017 lectures were held by Dragan Radosavljevic from the association "Voice of minorities" as a part of the project "Start - Up Romani Women". This meeting was dedicated to social entrepreneurship and some basic differences between this vision of business operation and classic entrepreneurship. Our participants were informed about potential organizational forms which are used to develop social business. The most important is certainly association.
The second part of the presentation Dragan Radosavljevic dedicated to the implementation of a SWOT analysis as a form of market positioning assessment. On selected business idea case our participants had the opportunity to learn how to apply SWOT analysis. Nowadays it is an indispensable method of assessment of business positions and chances on market. There were analyzed all strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the concrete business idea. That was certainly a valuable experience which our participants can use during preparation and development of their future business and professional ambitions. After the lecture it was opened the discussion which was used to clarify different issues related to the detailed SWOT analysis implementation.
